Former Mayor of Columbus
Real Estate and Business Investor
About Me
I’m the former mayor of Columbus, Wisconsin, a commercial real estate investor, entrepreneur, and proud father of three sons. My strengths encompass a diverse range, from engaging in commercial real estate investing and managing properties to operating assisted living facilities. Leadership, strategic planning, public policy, and community outreach are some of the strengths I possess.
Discovering and enhancing profitable investments, with a recent focus on fostering development in smaller communities through assisted living facilities has been something I am passionate about.
As a dedicated leader who takes initiative, I have managed everything from navigating approvals through municipal and government agencies to handling financing, development, and construction. Over the years, I’ve been involved in a variety of projects, whether it’s in assisted living, residential, commercial, or retail development.
While I have received advanced training in banking and finance through the American Institute of Banking, I attribute much of my success to the extensive experience I’ve gained throughout my career.
In addition to my professional pursuits, I actively support my church, local schools, police department, hospitals, and the Worldwide Orphan Fund. Outside of work, I find joy in traveling and spending quality time with my kids.

Enhancing the Quality of Life
“I like to be able to focus professionally on improving things in smaller communities. I think a lot of times the large cities have a lot of things that are offered, but the smaller communities in that 2,000 to 15,000 person range sometimes can be very limited. So I like to find ways to enhance the quality of life in those communities.”

“I’ve been to over 40 countries around the world. I definitely have very much an international viewpoint of the world, and also a tremendous appreciation for the United States of America and what it offers to all of us who live here. What we have many of us just take it for granted.”
